"Atlas" - Hunger Games Sound Track / Coldplays Ep
it was made for Hunger Games; Catching Fire and was the first ever Coldplay song written for a film and won the Hollywood Song Award at the 17th Hollywood Film Awards. it also hit the charts in 16 different country managing to get to top 10 in 3 of them. though this is not very high for a well-known band such as Coldplay it was good promotion for them and the movie Catch Fire that gross profit was ~$864,600,000 worldwide and was the most promoted film of 2013. as well as getting a deal with Coldplay they also promoted in Subway shops all over the world witch was a huge deal because At the end of 2010, Subway became the largest fast food chain worldwide, with 33,749 restaurants – 1,012 more than McDonald's.

But for Coldplay the promotion was used for there upcoming album in 2014 "Ghost Stories" and there are even links with the two album covers. on the cover of "Atlas" it shows Jennifer Lawrence who plays Catness in the film. in the movie shes seen as a beacon of hope or a savoir to the people on the cover the clouds behind her are formed like wings showing her angle like status the sun is also setting. when on the "Ghost Stories" cover there are a set of wings in a background of a nights sky. this could show the progression from the EP to the full album and with most artist you see a progression form one album to the other.
